Advanced techniques. Natural results. Minimal downtime.
At CMC Skin, Laser & Hair Clinic – Chitwan Medical College, we offer a range of scientifically advanced and highly effective hair transplant techniques tailored to your unique hair loss condition, scalp type, and aesthetic goals. Our procedures are performed by expert dermatologists using the latest tools and technology in a medically safe environment.
- Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT): This method involves removing a strip of skin from the donor area (usually the back of the scalp) and dissecting it into individual hair follicles, which are then transplanted to the recipient area. This method leaves a linear scar on the back of the scalp and requires a longer recovery period than the FUE method
- Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE): This method involves removing individual hair follicles from the donor area using a small punch tool, and then transplanting them to the recipient area. This method is less invasive than FUT and leaves no linear scar, but it is a more time-consuming procedure, and the grafts recovery time is longer. DHT, IHT, Bio, No-Root-Touch with DHT, BEST, Bio-Sapphire DHT all method are part of FUE hair transplant .
In both of these method, after the procedure, it typically takes around 6-12 months for the transplanted hair to fully grow. After that, the results of the hair transplantation are permanent and the patient will be able to maintain normal hair growth in the treated area.
It's important to note that hair transplantation is a surgical procedure, and as with any surgery, there are risks involved, including bleeding, infection, and scarring. It's essential to consult with a board-certified hair restoration surgeon to determine if hair transplantation is the right choice for you, what technique may best suit your needs and help you understand the process and the post-operative care.
